Hey Mboxers, here's the deal:
Give us your Synace requests.
500 points for the top ten, and one lucky winner (being the best) gets 1500. So put on your serious, funny, or seriously funny requests for Midnight Box's one and only tortured soul....Syance.
Contest Ends Sunday Dec 10 at 11:59pm

Integrate a code into the chat that would deduct 50 MB points for every swear word used.

I'd like to see us be able to send private messages to the people in the chat room.

Don't we do that all the time? Just use the command:
Code:
/msg {username} {message}
Do you mean something else?

A preview post button on the post submit form. That way we could preview our post before submitting it.

A couple of random thoughts:
1) Is there a way to remain in the chatrooom and still view the product when it changes. This would be very useful during the Box-A-Thon.
2) Next Box-A-Thon continue with the time limit on the items, but increase it to between 15 - 30 minutes or until sold out per item. (This was such agood idea it looks as if WOOT may have "borrowed" it from you during the last WOOT-off.) In addition also provide the number of "general items" being sold (also a good idea), but "spice" it up a bit by having "big draw" items randomly thrown into the order. this will provide a reason to continue viewing the B-A-T allowing for more people to stay tuned in and enticing them to buy off the general stock to clear the path for the next bg item. (Big items can include Mystery Boxes a limited numbers throughout the B-A-T, bu should also include other items (i.e. Wii, PSP3, XBOX360, flat screen monoitors etc.) the key is to intersperse limited quantities a different times, versus the same item all at once. It should keep people on-site and excited about what may be coming up next.
If you are able to combine suggestions 1 & 2, it should allow for greater participation and bringing others into the community increasing your "regular" customer base by creating a more enjoyable and fun experience.

On a more serious point, synace would do better to lose kevind for the next webcast and trade him in for a mannequin. Not that kevind is that bad at it, but it might just be what this thing needs to be picked up by the networks....that and of course background singers....a llama and an alien invasion...other than that he's a shoe in!

1.) When you join the chat room it tells you what the item is, I think you can do this through the chat room topic, or message, or something.
2.) when an item changes, ala a box-a-thon, update the topic when the item changes
3.) If there is not a video feed, replace the video box with a picture of the item that refreshes when an item changes (like the name of it does in the chat box)
4.) More TAPE END!!

oh yeah...what about random products during different hours of the day? have a limited quantity for these special items...that'd get more people to check the site throughout the day...

Be careful backwerds, I'm not sure you are allowed to point out things like this.
