A Waste Of Money!, January 26, 2007
By Stephen W. Byrd "ByrdMan" - See all my reviews
This thing has not worked right from day one. The DVD player has always skip or paused and it seems it's very hard for the dvd to get started. A very cheap built machine. This has turned me against Samsung. I'll go back to RCA!

Like others have said the VCR stops working in less than a year. Junk avoid.
Problems With Loading Trays, September 24, 2006
By Jbdave (Jonesboro, GA) - See all my reviews
After only about three months I had to send the unit back because the DVD tray wouldn't open. Now, a few months later, I'm having trouble with the VCR tray. This morning I stuck my finger in the slot and 'banged' on the tape with my finger and the tape ejected afterwards.
Playback of DVD's is good. Playback of recorded tapes is not so hot. Giving it three stars for overall features.
Lack of Quality & Durability, September 16, 2006
By R. Kane (California) - See all my reviews
In less than a year, the VHS tapes record badly with a wobbly/wavy quality that is murder to watch. The DVD player never did work quite right--the brightness of the screen keeps fluctuating, and alternates between normal and a dark reddish picture that resembles a blackout in Hades. Don't spend your money on this piece of work!
Personal notes:
I do not prefer all-in-one units. These days cheaper to buy all seperate.
